Anyways, I'm back :D .. Here's an easy recipe for making any kind of jam, in this case I'm using golden kiwis. You may use strawberries, blueberries, cherries (if it's in season) or mixed berries.
Ingredients:
3 cups golden kiwi1 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
3 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp honey
1 tsp pectin
Direction:
1. Cut kiwi in cubes.2. Combine kiwi, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan and bring to simmer.
3. Keep the heat low and cook the kiwi for at least 1 hour and stir once in a while.
4. After 1 hour, use a potato masher to mash the kiwi until there is no chunks. Cook for another 15-20 minutes until it thickens.
5. Sift pectin to the kiwi jam and stir well.
6. Add honey. Off the heat. Let it cool completely before storing it.
