Eat in Bangkok (Thailand)

This is just a short getaway trip to Bangkok. My husband and I went there for 3 days 2 nights. It was not really a well planned, but kind of a last minute trip.. :D but anyways, here's some of the food that we had there.

Day 1

1. Lunch at road side
What: Local economical rice, so cheap and nice!
Where: Sukhumvit Soi 21, near Terminal 21 & Sukhumvit MRT
Price: THB 50 (with mineral water!)

2. Teatime at After You
What: The famous (Ferrero) Shibuya Toast & refreshing Jelly Tea.
Where: After You Dessert Cafe, Ground Floor Siam Paragon, Siam BTS
Price: Quite reasonable (I forgot :P)

3. Sushi tasting
What: We tried variety of sushi including the uni sushi and the foie gras sushi which were fantastic. Had the uni crab meat appetiser and shishamo as well. It was not bad. The Japanese chef was friendly.
Where: Yashin by Tenyuuu, 3rd Floor Nihonmura Mall
Price: around THB 3,000

4. Thai Dinner
What: Originally we wanted to eat the boat noodle, but it was sold out!! So we just had a random chicken curry noodle, stir-fried Thai seafood kway teow, pandan chicken and pork dumpling. It was so good. Also had the lemongrass tea, so thick and fragrant.
Where: Nara Thai Cuisine, Ground Floor Erawan Bangkok, Phloenchit BTS 
Price: Around THB 1,500-2,000
Fact: Nara Thai Cuisine is awarded Thailand's Best Restaurant from 2007-2014

Day 2

1. Breakfast at FuramaXclusive Asoke Hotel

2. Eat at Chatuchak Market
What: Pork noodle and separately we had the super refreshing coconut ice cream and fried squid eggs (which I don't fancy a lot, it's like eating a poached egg white but more slimy like an oyster).

Price: THB 40 (Pork Noodle), THB 35 (Coconut Ice Cream), THB 40 (Fried Squid Eggs)

3. Lunch at Food Republic

What: Milky Seafood Tom Yum Noodle and Clam Pancake
Where: Food Republic, Top Floor, Siam Square, Siam BTS
Price: Around THB 80-90 per item

4. Coffee Break

What: Just a simple Cappuccino
Where: I+d Style Cafe X Brave Roasters, Siam Square, Siam BTS
Price: Probably THB 150 or less

5. Random Thai Food Dinner 

What: Had some kind of 'yong tau foo' dish, kind of assorted fish cakes, pork blood and some condiments. It was fishy and irony.

Where: Food Court, Ground Floor Siam Paragon, Siam BTS

Price: Around THB 100

6. Desserts from Dessert Warehouse 

What: Kitkat & Matcha Tarts

Where: Dessert Warehouse, Ground Floor Siam Paragon, Siam BTS

Price: Probably less than THB 100 per piece

6. Must-have

What: Thai Mango Sticky Rice

Where: Don Muang Airport Bangkok

Price: Around THB 100

Another must-have when you visit Thailand is the Thai Massage. I highly recommend Healthland. They have few branches, but the one that I went was the Healthland Asoke which was near my hotel.
