Homemade Teriyaki Sauce

Make this teriyaki sauce and store in a jar. You can use it to stir fry noodle or vegetables, make chicken or salmon teriyaki.

First, mix all ingredients in a small saucepan:

1/4 cup soya sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp ginger, minced (or same amount Worldfoods ginger paste)
1 tbsp garlic, minced (or same amount Worldfoods garlic paste)
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp dijon mustard


1 tsp corn starch + 2 tbsp water

Method: 

1. Whisk all the ingredients together. Boil for 15-20 minutes.
2. Make the corn starch slurry by mixing corn starch and water, then slowly pour into the sauce to thicken. Stir well and let it cool down.
3. Store in a jar until it's ready to be used.

Make: 3/4 cup of teriyaki sauce (4 servings)
